This article covers how to get a refund on an expired card
Refunds can be made against cancelled or expired virtual cards in the same way as an active card.
The refund is credited back to the underlying funding account, and not onto the card itself - you will see the refund transaction on the relevant card history, however the card limit will not increase following a refund.
If for whatever reason your supplier cannot process a refund in this way, try using the "duplicate card" feature on the portal (snip below) and provide the new card details to the supplier for them to attempt a refund.
If you still haven't received the refund from your supplier when it is due, you might be eligible to raise a chargeback request.
