This article will cover what 2FA is and how you enable this feature within the portal
Two-Factor Authentication, known as 2FA, is a security system that requires two forms of identification to be able to access certain resources and data.
2FA plays a vital part in protecting individuals from having their password compromised and lowers the risk of being targeted by hackers.
We understand the importance of having 2FA enabled when logging into the Pax2Pay portal, which is why we have a 2FA feature which you can activate if you wish.
You can enable 2FA within your settings on the Pax2Pay portal as shown below.
You will need to download a free soft token 2FA app to your smart phone or desktop via your app store if you don't already use one. Our portal provides some suggestions as it takes you through the 2FA set up.
Don't forget to make a note of the recovery codes!
Once 2FA is enabled you will be prompted to enter the code (from your preferred 2FA app) as well as your password when you log onto the portal.
Two-factor authentication needs to be enabled within your settings to be able to make a outbound transfer from your Pax2Pay account.
